Location
The Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop is located at the University of Colorado, Boulder Campus in the Charlotte York Irey Dance Wing, Theatre & Dance Building.

All BJDW classes and all performances are held on the beautiful C.U. Campus, in the heart of Boulder, featured in Newsweek and Money magazines as one of the "most livable" cities in the U.S. According to Sunset magazine, "If heaven has a college town, it's probably as beautiful as Boulder." Perfect summertime weather and close proximity to Denver International Airport make Boulder a popular destination for visitors to conventions, arts festivals, and nearby tourist attractions. Nestled against the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Boulder's famous system of mountain parks, with hiking & biking trails, as well as restaurants & shopping, are all only a short walk from the BJDW.
Studios: Classes are held in the three C.U. Dance Department Studios and in the Carlson Gym studio (with oak floors and mirrors) 5 minutes across campus from the dance building.
Airport: The closest airport to Boulder is Denver International Airport. There is frequent (at least once each hour) ground transportation from DIA to Boulder; the trip takes approximately 1 1/2 hours. The last bus and last mini-van shuttle leave DIA for Boulder between 11:00 p.m. and midnight. Dancers flying to the workshop should make arrangements accordingly - allow time for delayed flights when making plane reservations!
